Since opening the doors in 2015 of our freshly remodeled 1850s home turned wedding venue (with a new large reception hall also being added in 2017), we have operated under the name of Coulter House Event Center. While we will always refer to the actual venue as such, in an effort to plan for future expansions on the property, we are changing the name of the business as a whole to Mill Pond Farms Events.
We are excited about this change as it encapsulates the history the home and property dating back to the 1920s. The Clark Family that lived on the property from about 1920-1970 operated their large turkey and chicken farming operation under the name of Mill Pond Farms.
With the family’s permission, we have now incorporated that name once more into the name of the property and corresponding venue. We look forward to many more years of serving the community as an event venue and appreciate all the great support thus far as we work to not only offer this venue as the perfect venue for all types of events but also in an effort to preserve local history.
