Since opening in 2015, our freshly remodeled 1850s home turned wedding venue (with a new large reception hall added in 2017) has operated under the Coulter House Event Center. We will always refer to the actual venue as such. To plan for future expansions on the property, we are renaming the business as a whole to Mill Pond Farms Events.
We are excited about this change as it captures the history of the home and property from the 1920s. The historic Clark Family lived on the property from 1920 to 1970. They operated a large turkey and chicken farm under the name of Mill Pond Farms.
With the family’s permission, we have incorporated that name into the new name of the property and venue. We look forward to many more years of serving the community as an event venue. At Mill Pond Event Center, we thank you for your great support. We aim to make this venue perfect for all types of events while preserving local history.
